Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Bio:
Born in Odisha in 1959, Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty is a distinguished physicist who has received several prestigious accolades throughout his career, including the Young Physicist Award in 1988, the INSA Young Scientist Award in 1991, and the Homi Bhabha Science and Technology Award in 2001. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to science, he was honored with a D.Litt. Honoris Causa by Utkal University in 2021
